Hi – I’m Tobias Hammeke. After studying industrial engineering and management, I decided in 2005, to become a direct entrant as Assistant to the Executive Board of the SIG Combibloc Equipment Unit (machine building) in Neuss. In addition to the product and the interesting position, the decisive factor for me was the intended internationalization of the business unit. During my career with SIG, I found the coordination of global purchasing in China and supporting the planning of our new location in Thailand particularly fascinating. For that reason, I decided to accept a position with the SIG Combibloc Equipment Unit – Asia, where I am currently responsible for production. What I particularly appreciate in my work are the challenges presented by my international environment. In my function as a generalist, I can keep a lot of things moving through my own initiative and good ideas. |
