I’m Siegfried Mahr and have been with SIG since 1990. Following my diploma thesis, which I wrote on the subject of research and development, I accepted an interesting position in the production facility at the Linnich location. That opened the doors to a steadily developing career. As a globally active enterprise, SIG offers many opportunities to develop oneself internationally. The outstanding highlights of my career hitherto were unquestionably setting up the production facilities in Suzhou (China) and in Rayong (Thailand), where I am currently the Plant Manager. Fulfilling my responsibilities in any new cultural environment is invariably a particular challenge. For me personally, it is essential to have clear objectives within the job that I can then realize together with a strong team. At SIG, I particularly appreciate the corporate culture of directness, transparency and honesty. |
